How about a Pantomime?

We have realised that there is clearly an opening in Fulbourn for a full-length panto, (Oh, yes, there is!) so, in response to the success of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, LlamaDrama is thrilled to announce that we will be presenting at the Townley Hall the most popular panto of all, CINDERELLA, and this is to give you details of the auditions, rehearsals and performances.

AUDITIONS will be held on Thursday 13th April this year and on Tuesday 18th April in the Meeting Room at the Fulbourn Centre, at 7.30pm.  You need only come to one of these days but you are very welcome to come to both if you wish.
Although the auditions have already taken place, we are still looking for help with light and sound, backstage and front of house.  Please come and join us, it's a lot of fun and a good way to make new friends.

We are looking for adults AND children, for the many roles - Cinderella, the Ugly Sisters and the Stepmother, the Fairy Godmother, Buttons, the Prince and Dandini, the King and Queen, and numerous other character roles.  The script is humorous with modern 'twists', and, based on rehearsals for 'Oz', rehearsals will be lot of fun.  Ability to sing is not mandatory, but for certain parts is preferable.  If you have any special talents or 'party pieces' also, then we would love you to be involved and we will fit them in.
Once Cinderella is cast, you will have the chance to enjoy your summer before rehearsals begin on 31st August, but once Cinderellas has been cast, scripts will be given out so that the actors can start to learn their lines over the summer.  The rehearsal dates are as follows:
REHEARSALS will be on THURSDAYS at 7.15pm in the Meeting Room at the Fulbourn Centre, Home End, Fulbourn, CB21 5BS, starting from 31st August, and, apart from a couple of days when we can't have the room, they will run through every week until late December.  We shall also have the odd rehearsal on the Townley Hall stage on a Sunday afternoon, to suit the cast.
PERFORMANCES will be on Saturday 6th January 2018 (matinée and evening) and the same on Saturday 13th January 2018 (matinée and evening).  There will be a chance for final rehearsals just before the performances, after the New Year.
There will be a 'show fee' for actors this time of £6 for adults, £4 for children and we will make a special rate for families with more than one adult or child/ren in them - this will be done on an individual basis.
